We’re coming back to Nottingham! We invite you and your friends to join us for our annual wine evening at the Albert Hall, where we’ll have 30 delicious Laithwaites wines for you to taste together in a relaxed atmosphere.
The Albert Hall is situated in the center of Nottingham, just a 2 minute walk from Nottingham City Centre’s hub - The Old Market Square. We invite you and your friends to join us here to experience a fun and informal wine evening; we will have a selection of 30 favourites from our range for you to try - absolutely no wine knowledge needed!
The format of our wine evenings is simple; there will be no tutored tasting. We'll greet you on arrival with a drop of fizz (in a glass that is yours to keep). You then pass from table to table with your guests at your own pace, tasting whatever wines you like.
We will have a real variety of wines for you to discover on the night; both red and white, plus a couple of pinks and sparkling wines. We’ll include a few old heroes as well as new and unusual styles that you might not have tried before. There will be a sprinkling of fine, dessert, and fortified wines too – a real assortment from all over the world, covering everyday drinking wines through to Classics.
The Laithwaites Wine team will be there to serve the wines and answer any questions you may have. We'll also be joined by one or two of our producers to present their wines to you in person.
Plenty of water and biscuits will be available for you to help yourself to, to help ‘soak up’ the wine, and spittoons will be provided (use of which is optional!).
It’s also worth knowing that any orders made on the evening will benefit from a 10% discount and free delivery to your door.
